Ever since kindergarten, Brienna Pruce knew she wanted to be an artist. In 6th grade, she began taking college art courses after school. She enjoyed the Gifted Program at her school, summer Governor’s School Programs, and her artwork was published on the cover of Creative Kids magazine.
She skipped her senior year of high school to become one of the first double BFA graduates at Sweet Briar College (SBC). She has a BFA in Creative Writing and Studio Art with an Honors Degree in Highest Honors in Studio Art and a minor in Art History. She earned a Graduate Fellowship at Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD) where she received her MFA in Painting and the Outstanding Academic Achievement Award in Painting. She’s had the honor of enjoying Artist Residencies as a Forsyth Fellow at the Virginia Center for the Creative Arts (VCCA) and a Professional Development Grant Recipient at the Sustainable Arts Center in Georgia.
Sharing a new perspective with others through her artwork is what she enjoys the most. Brienna works primarily with acrylic paint on canvas sheets and loves taking her traveling studio around the world.
Brienna Pruce started her yoga training with her mother when she was a little girl. She refined her practice, training in Advanced Vietnamese Raja (Royal) Yoga with Grand Master Adam, a descendant of the 18th century Vietnamese King.
She is a Certified Yoga Instructor through International Yoga Institute, a RYT-200 Registered Yoga Teacher through Yoga Alliance, an ACE Certified Group Fitness Instructor, and an ISSA Certified Personal Trainer. She began her fitness career over a decade ago teaching Boot Camp and Indoor Cycling classes as well as personal training. Now she dedicates her time to sharing yoga.
Brienna has had the opportunity to teach yoga classes at a variety of places including the University of Cambridge in England through ScholarYoga and the Naval Postgraduate School in Monterey, CA. She has shared private and group fitness sessions around the world.
